Links to Websites Dealing with Aluminum


Aluminum, from the Chemical Science and Technology Division Web Team, provides interesting historical information about aluminum, as well as the sources, properties, uses, and compounds of aluminum.

The Aluminum Internation Network, based in Padova, Italy, investigates the role of aluminum in biological systems. In addition to reference information, there are many links to research papers that deal with aluminum and the body.

Aluminum Statistical Compendium, minerals information from the United States Geological Survey, includes information on the economic importance of aluminum. There are also many tables relating to aluminum available to download.

Aluminum Fact Sheet, includes mostly specific chemical information, in addition to instructions pertaining to emergency actions that should be taken when there is an aluminum accident.
