This webpage was created by honors biology students at the University of Arizona to educate the general public on the genetics of corn domestication. This topic is of great importance in the realm of genetic research, and it is our goal to summarize it's major components in plain, easy to understand terms.
We would like to thank Dr. Scott Kroken for teaching and mentoring our group, and devoting his time to this project. We would also like to thank the Biology 181H team: Dr. Kathleen Dixon, Dr. Richard Hallick, Dr. Elizabeth Willot, and Nick Panayi.
