This site was created by Honors Biology 181 students at the University of Arizona with the aspiration of explaining a new scientific achievement presented in the 2007 scientific article from Nature entitled, “In vitro reprogramming of fibroblasts into a pluripotent ES-cell-like state,” by Marius Wernig, Alexander Meissner, Ruth Foreman, Tobias Brambrink, Manching Ku, Konrad Hochedlinger, Bradley E. Bernstein & Rudolf Jaenisch (2007). Our mentor, Dr. Parker Antin (Cell Biology and Anatomy) oversaw our project, helped us comprehend the paper, and offered us his professional opinions and advice.

Our website includes a summary of the paper along with supplemental relevant material relevant to this scientific breakthrough. Enjoy!
