Biology 181 Honors Group 7

Hello. This site was put together by a group of eight college students enrolled in a honors biology discussion course with the intent of clearly communicating an experiment.  All of the information presented, lacks scientific jargon to aid in comprehension. The original scientific paper that our group set upon translating is specifically about AgDscam, a receptor found in vectors that correlates to malaria.  We hope you enjoy the site!

College students attending University of Arizona created this website .  It is framed after the ideas found in the experiments of Yuemew Dong, Harry E. Taylor and George Dimopoulos and their findings concerning AgDscam, a Hypervariable Immunoglobulin Domain-Containing Receptor of the Anopheles gambiae Innate Immune System.  Davis Alan Kahrs and Joseph Spinks Still assisted the group with initial interpretations difficulties and final revisions.
