Honors Student Web Projects
Fall 1996

For the final project in Honors Biology 181, Prof. Grimes assigned faculty mentors to 19 groups of students. The faculty mentors gave their groups scientific papers, and worked with the students to help them understand the biology behind the research paper. Each group, in turn, created a web project that explains the biology in their papers. The honors students received a one hour lecture on making web pages and members of The Biology Project served as consultants for many of the groups. Students also made use of the Biology Learning Center and many of the CCIT computing facilities on campus.
